I was really hoping this bench fabric would be the exact same color as my chairs, unfortunately that didn��t happen. The bench seems to have a khaki hue in the velvet color, more than I would call it beige. My chairs were labeled beige and they are exactly as pictured.

I like the fabric on this bench. It is similar to the four mid century modern dining chairs that are paired with this bench in the sense that it is velvet and will spot clean easily with a little white damp cloth with warm water and a bit of Shout, wiping with the grain of the velvet if necessary.

I took out an ancient jacuzzi tub in the master bath that I knew I��d never used and put in this cute sofa instead. it is firm ��as another reviewer mentioned, but it is not uncomfortable. I love the style and it end perfect for my space. PS the legs to the chair were located in an unusual zipper pocket located beneath the seat. No problem screwing them on plus it left a great little secret hiding place for jewelry, etc. when W6 from home. Could not be more happy with my purchase!

Considering the price range, I would say it��s a fair price for furniture you have to assemble yourself. It��s the only piece of furniture we own that required assembly. It was easy to do! Time will tell how well the upper stitching will last on the upper scalloped back edges of the back rest.
